Introducing International Student Program for 2012-2013
We will be starting up our International Student
Program (ISP) this fall and we are very excited about this. We are
partnering with Wheaton Academy, which is one of the oldest and most
influential private Christian schools in America. We believe that ISP
will add immeasurable value to the local students' education, give
international students life-shaping experiences, export Christian
values and leadership principles worldwide and ultimately expand the
global influence of Christian education.Our international students
will live in a 'host' home and be completely immersed in our culture.
We need you to support us in this endeavor by considering being a host
family for one or two of our international students. We have several
meetings scheduled over the next few months, please make note of the
following dates and come out and join us for one or more of these
meeting.
Meeting Dates:
Thursday, February 9 @ 7pm, in the library
Thursday, March 8 @ 7pm, in the library
Thursday, April 12 @ 7pm, in the library
Thursday, May 3 @ 7pm, in the library
Please RSVP so that we can have an idea of how many people to prepare
for. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to
call or email Quantrenia Johnson, the ISP Coordinator. Information is
also available on the BCS website along with Host family applications.
